The 33rd Annual TOMPKINS SQUARE HALLOWEEN DOG PARADE is Saturday, October 21st at 12:30pm. The day consists of a real walking parade down Avenue B (free and open to all) and an exclusive costume competition in the park (also free; but limited space and wristbands available.

"This parade has been a cherished tradition for 32 years, capturing the essence of New York City's vibrant dog-loving community,? said Fern Watt, dog author and communications officer of TSPDR. ?It's a celebration of joy, creativity and the unbreakable bond between humans and their four-legged best friends. It?s basically the Met Gala for the Canine Community. We?ve been overcome by the amazing display of support from our community, so call the pup-arazzi: the show will go on!?

The Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade has consistently been one of the year?s biggest and most anticipated events for dog families, attracting participants and spectators from all across the city and beyond.
